RoboFab is the factory US humanoid-robot company Agility Robotics built and owns in Salem, Oregon, announced in 2023, dedicated to producing its bipedal humanoid robot, Digit, and often cited as one of the earliest purpose-built humanoid-robot manufacturing plants. Its planned capacity is reported at up to 10,000 units a year, though actual early output has been well below that. Its significance is in showing humanoid robots starting to move from hand-assembled lab units toward factory-scale production; together with Figure's BotQ and Tesla's Optimus line, it's often cited in discussions of how humanoid-robot mass production is progressing.
